Houston Rockets returned to Houston after a 2-game defeat on the road and will face Phoenix Sun tonight at Toyota Centre.

After a bright start of 6W 4L, Phoenix Suns also suffered the similar fate faced by Houston Rockets. Both their starting centre, Robin Lopez and startig point guard, Steve Nash were injured, and ever since then Phoenix Sun had a losing streak of 3.

So both teams are on a losing streak of 3, and both are missing their starting point guard and centre.

For the Houston Rockets, every game is now crucial
if they want to make up the lost ground of a disastrous season opening. They need to beat this Nash-less Phoenix Sun to boost up their morale, and avoid digging a bigger hole further for them to climb out of.

GO GO GO ROCKETS !!!

Photos of Yao Ming and the Rockets in their team practice/scrimmage on November 21 in Toyota Centre.

Big Yao has yet to be able to run due to the bone bruise on his left ankle, and therefore, he was not able to participate in team scrimmage yet, and could only participate in his rehabilitation exercises (biking and strength and conditioning exercises in the gym) and some simple shootout/free throw exercise.

Geeeeeeeeeee, it was a smokescreen !!!

Steve Nash started for this game !!!

1Q ended and Houston Rockets did poorly in 1Q, allowing the Phoneix Sun to score at above 55% FG% while they could only score below 40% FG%.

But the Rockets out-rebounded and out-assisted Phoenix Sun, had less turnovers and therefore created more shot attempts and second chance scoring
to be behind by only 1 point at end of 1Q.

25 ~ 26.

Geeeeeez, Houston Rockets tied the game at 39 ~ 39 by the 6:00 minute mark in 2Q, only to have the Phoenix Sun to strike a 10 ~ 0 run, and is now 41 ~ 50 behind with less than 3 minute to go before half time.

Phoenix Sun is still shooting the lights out with 55% FG% 60% 3-pointer%, while the Houston Rockets is shooting a PATHETIC 41% FG% and ZERO 3-pointer%, bricking all 12 of their 3-pointer attempts. :x

2Q ended. 59 ~ 45, a 14-point lead by Phoenix Sun.

I'm afraid the Houston Rockets had once again dug out TOO BIG A HOLE for themselves to climb out of in the second half.

Houston Rockets played alittle bit better in 3Q.

Now they are 65 ~ 71, only 6 points behind by the 6 minute mark of 3Q.

STILL WITHIN STRIKING DISTANCE !!!

4:42 HOU Layup by Kyle Lowry. Assist: Kevin Martin
4:42 PHO Shooting foul on Josh Childress
4:42 HOU Kyle Lowry hits a free throw
4:32 HOU Kyle Lowry steals the ball from Jason Richardson
4:29 HOU Layup by Kyle Lowry

5 quick points (first a 3-point play, then a steal and a fast break layup) from Little Tank, Kyle Lowry, brought Houston Rockets to be 2 points behind. 72 ~ 74. :P :P :P
