Yao Ming sent his words of condolences on his Facebook to the pass away of a great leader of the Olympics and a great friend of China, former President of the International Olympics Committee, Juan Antonio Samaranch.

that in no way is yao's writing. Like Kobe, he has someone else put his thoughts to paper. ...Colin Pine? jk.

lol I had thought of Yao and his wife sitting at the kitchen table and working on that together to get it just right... he's asian and I can remember my own parents working together to get the family greeting cards, a thank you note or family announcement just right for their English speaking colleagues and friends

seriously though... pryuen might know but I'm assuming Yao put it to paper and someone on his team who's a native speak polishes it up for him.

Yao is a commie? when did he join the Party or are you shooting off your mouth about yao again.

Yao Ming updated his Facebook, and posted a picture of him weight-lifting. :P :D

It seemed now Yao Ming can sustain his full weight now on his feet, and judged from the bar bells, he could be lifting something close to 60 KGs.

I worked out at Toyota Center this morning. Luis Scola and Jermaine Taylor were in there, too.

I think Yao is only squatting 95 lbs. The bar is 45 lbs, and each plate is 25 lbs I think. These are the rubber squat/snatch plates and the yellow ones are normally 25 lbs.

Thanks. All the Chinese websites were speculating 60 KG. But I guess you're right. Squatting or bench pressing too heavy now mught still be hazardous to his restructured foot.

Judged by the fact that David Macha was pushing a red box at the back, it seemed that Yao Ming could be squatting without going all the way down and up again, but maybe just moved down, sat on the box, and rose again with the weights.
