Photos of Yao Ming at the game with Cleveland Cavaliers, arriving early, had a chat with Jonathen Feigen of Houston Chronicles, sat on the bench and watched the complete game. He also went straight to the Cavaliers' locker room after the game, and had a short chat with Big Z for exchange of his experience on recuperating/rehabilitating from the microfracture surgery, as well as say hi to Shaquille O'Neal.

Christmas is approaching. And it is the season of giving.

Yao Ming, even though has still to rely on his crutches for walking, joined Carl Landry, Chase Budinger and Brian Cook in a visit to the sick children at Memorial Hermann Hospital Monday (December 14) afternoon, signing autographs and distributing Christmas gifts for the children.

He even had a WII electronic game of bowling with one of the kids.

Pryuen, who considers one self to be of moderator-caliber, decides to delete BREEZY's and superjohn's post, and resides to not deleting any of Dr. No's posts. One can only imagine the quixotic relationship developing between Pryuen and Dr. No. Embarrassment and humiliation leads one to delete certain posts that one does not deem correct under one's correlations.

Pryuen, the one who considers one self to be of moderator-caliber, should look at oneself's outrageous claims first before judging others:

-The Rockets would go 11-71 without Yao Ming this season
-Tracy McGrady would average at least 25ppg when he comes back from injury
-Hong Kong citizens (like himself) look down upon and are far more superior than that of China mainlanders

The singing parrot shall look at his hilarious claims, and note that oneself is wrong.

So Big Yao is coming home, probably within this week, just in time to attend in his new capacity as a team owner, the debut game of Shanghai Sharks vs Zhejiang Guangxia of the new 2009/2010 CBA season on December 19 (Saturday). :P :P :P

No idle sitting

In addition to working out while on the mend
from foot surgery, Yao Ming is learning the ropes
of owning a team in the China Basketball Association

Shane Battier was in his customary sprint from the Rockets' locker room to the court when he came upon Yao Ming and had to stop to make a plea.

Yao Ming and his wife, Ye Li had arrived Shanghai this evening.

As Team Yao did not inform/notify press/media about their arrival, therefore, so far no photos available on various sources.

But tomorrow Friday (December 18 ), Yao Ming will attend 2 activities:

  • A press conference to introduce the major financial sponsor of his team, Shanghai Sharks for the new season. It's rumored to be a major car tire company.
  • Another press conference for International Wildlife Conservation Organization: Active Conservation Awareness Programme WildAid (ACAP WildAid) of which Yao Ming is the Global Image Spokesperson since 2006. ACAP WildAid had shot another new Public Service Announcement of Yao Ming, and they time its global launch/release of the PSA tomorrow. Yao Ming and the whole team of Shanghai Sharks players are invited for the event.
So stay tune for reports and photos of the above activities tomorrow.
