After 2 days rest, the Houston Rockets face Minneosta Timberwolves in Toyota Centre, and hope to bounce back from a pathetic and humiliating loss to a last-place team, Memphis Grizzlies, and continue their dominance over the Timberwolves with their 6th straight win.
But it won't be an easy one, and in their current inconsistent state, I would not be surprised that they will be again be taken by surprise by Timberwolves. If they can lose to weak teams like Philidelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, New York Knicks, then anything is possible that they might slip again to Timberwolves if they forget their lessons learnt, and stay away from what they do best, i.e. let Yao Ming and not Tracy McGrady be the go-to-guy in offense, [color=darkred]more crispy passing and ball/body movement and tough defense.
If they could lose 48 ~ 32 deficit in points in the paint to the poor Memphis Grizzlies, then Big Yao and his Rockets need to play and improve their defense by upping their gears, as they will be facing Al Jefferson and Kevin Love.
Al Jefferson is having an awesome season, and is the reason why Minnesota Timberwolves, with a poor 17W 31L W/L ratio, ranks among the league leaders with 44.0 points in the paint per game. The guy is currently averaging a career-high 22.8 points, and every time he played against the Rockets, he just played out of his mind; He had 34 points and 13 boards in the teams

Big Yao came to Toyota Centre early and after his warm-up/shootaround practice, just concentrated in reviewing play videos of the Timberwolves.

7 ~ 0 run by the Timberwolves in less than 3 minutes of 2Q..... 34 vs 20, 14-point hole to climb out of.
NO DEFENSE and NO OFFENSE.
