1) the rockets did look better

2) warriors suck cant stop ****** on defense

both are true.

the watershed is the slow realization that given this team's track record the rockets cant RELY on having all 3 of those guys healthy for the entire playoffs. it's probable that they will have artest yao and tmac but they cannot COUNT on it. it's possible one or more might be out.

so seeing the team continue to win with a piece missing (tmac or whoever) is GOOD (better than losing to a ****** team )

I will persist and say though that TMAC would be unparalleled help for houston if he can get healthy and motivated for the playoffs. why? because you CANNOT WIN in the NBA without star calls. Yao will NEVER get them so he will NEVER be a go to finisher (among other reasons) ARTEST? refs fukin hate him. tmac when he's playing well will get some star calls and they will need him to finish

or it's gonna be 50/50 come playoff time once again

T-Mac is a skill player, not a team player, he is leather when the ball is on his hand, and he can shoot over most players when in his prime.

Saw his old time, when he scored 61 points, 90% comes off his dribbling, stop and pop, when he is in the zone, no 1 can stop him, but team can not wait until he is hot, and no 1 knows when he is gonna get hot, after 20 shots? especially when he is not hot most of the time now.

A talent or a lead player should be able to get hot when he needs to whenever the team needs him to step up, Kobe has learned to make his team mates better, then takes over the game when team needs him in the end, we all know the last 5 minutes of each game, that is what all it counts for.

If T-mac still thinking of making 30+ points to sell his shoes, go to the teams that have no hopes for playoffs, and he can make 40 shots per game, and get his leading scorer title back.

I vote for Wafer, he is better than T-mac now.

Wafer has played well in T-Mac's absence and all credit to him. However is NOT better than T-Mac. T-Mac brings a lot more to the table for the Rockets than Wafer. T-Mac can create shots for himself and others and when the offense bogs down, that's big. Wafer also has lapses of concentration on defense. That's why sometimes, Adelman doesn't go with him in the 2nd half.

That said, Adelman need to run less isolations for T-Mac. That isn't working. Yao coming out to set a high pick for T-Mac, should be shelf also.
