Big Luther.

That's why JVG keeps Luther in the lineup and in the games late. There is not a shot anywhere on the court that he is afraid -- or unable -- to make. That leaning over trey from the right was the kind he's put up a bunch of times during the season. They are quickly forgotten when he gets into a shooting slump. He is the Rockets highest percentage 3-point shooter in the fourth quarter.

He is getting into the playoff shape. His defense was heroic.
And then, on the offense end...

He will be gone once he is a free agent... Big contract waiting for him...

What's that old saying about even a blind pig being able to occasionally find a mushroom?

Well, then meet Rafer Alston.

I don't think so, he likes Rockets and Rockets like him so... that's not very probable...

GO ROCKETS! ^^

We don't need no stinkin' stars

Call them "The Wild Ones."

No T-Mac. No Yao. The nonstars go on an 11-2 run to take control of the game. Finally carrying their weight.

I thought Yao played pretty good. He tired out Brad Miller, and several Kings.

That is the way to go. If Yao can demand double team, and JVG plays at least 9 man rotation, (in this game, 10 Rockets played), then you will see no more forth quarter melt down.

It was a good change to see the other team instead of Rockets is so worn out in the final minutes.

Like I have said, he will kill the Rockets in the playoffs with his poor shooting. If you look at all the elite teams in the league, all their point guards at least can shoot on a consistent basis. Nash, Terry, Parker, Billups, etc. Unfortunately, not Alston.
