		<description>yes good off topic blog about this.  obviously the reason why soo many volunteered(and most are students by the way) is because it just looks good on the resume.

as a person currently living in beijing, most of my chinese friends, who are students, are volunteers way even before the actualy olympics start; training as well as other performances/competition before the actual olympic games.

i should also say out of personal pride for china, that my friends are doing this. but ask any student in beijing and most of them well tell you they are doing it because the 1 million who did get accepted no they have an ace in the hole per se in their resume; add that with 关系(lost in translation but closest in eng is "connections") and youve got it pretty much made for a future job.

i hope it's a good showing, the booths theyve set up around beijing are interesting since most of those students are studying foreign lang in either beijing lang and culture university or beijing foreign university.

if i can take some photos ill let you guys know
