Hollinger stated that Amare Stoudemire is the best center in the game. How can Amare be the best center when he is not even leading his team in rebound. He has some impressive dunks, but where will he be without Steve Nash. If Nash was playing on the Rockets, Yao would be the greatest center ever by now.

Yao gets double and triple team every game and he still manage to average more 20 points/10 rebounds a game. Can anyone say this about Amare?

I really think that Amare is overrated, but for some reasons, the media loves him? John, any thought on this and why Yao doesn’t get the accolades (Rookie of the Year, and First Team All-NBA) as Amare did?
