Rick Adelman said that he will make Yao's game easier, that he doesn't have to fight for position every time, it's not happening yet. Yao is trying very hard to fight the aggressive defenders, but like last year, if he doesn't get the call, he will not be very efficient. Late in the game, when he was not fronted (guarded by Duncan), he immediately bounced back and hit a few big shots. After the game both Rick Adelman and Yao Ming are quoted complaining that Yao had no free throws in the game. I am not trying to defend Yao, it's just this is an old problem that Van Gundy couldn't solve, and Rick Adelman hasn't solved yet.

ONCE AGAIN YOU LET MIKE JAMES OFF EASY. 5 of 10 is not his "old self". it is a rare self because he always forces his shot and rarely gets others involved. he is STREAKY and didn't get shippped around thie league for no reason.

<em>It's better than Rafer. He is brought into score, like Vinnie the Microwave Johnson, Bobby Jackson, etc., and the Rockets need that more than ever because Rafer shoots for such a low percentage. I guess signing as a free agent with Minnesota and a team really wanting him to return (Houston) is now considered being "shipped."</em>

I am very disappointed the way the rockets performed last night. Damn! When Yao is hot you get the ball to him and they don't. When Yao needs to dominate he doesn't...instead he'll pass the ball to alston and head. Last 50secs they were supposed to make a play...and guess what? All they did was kill the time by passing the ball to each other like they were in the first quarter. Pissed me off!! They should have won this game even without tracy. If only they could drive into the basket more often instead of shooting those unreliabe jumpers. Yao is still soft and reluctant to take over the game when he needs to. If I was the coach...I'll definitely let him know that....grrrr. This team is never going to win with this line up! I love my rockets but they are lost right now!
