In response to Chengbo YIN. Why next season? This season has not started yet. Do not waste time by being indecisive. Yes, this team does not need a big man; but I am sure plenty of other teams would like to have one. An early trading would be beneficial for both the Rockets and Yao. It would be damaging to both parties, if no decision is made right away.

Well, I really don't know from this point of the season. The preseason game seems show an inconsistency of Yao's roles. Games of earier this month seemeed dominated by Yao, and in other games, coach A seemed testing benches. How about putting in this way: In games later this month, Yao got little ball fed to him because those players are competing for starting line-up/rotation or even a job. So they have to play selfishly to impress coach A. But I think if Yao are instructed to stay at high post, he'd better find another team/system next season.

I posted some comments in response to another article. I am not sure whether Yao has read it. Thus, I repeat it here. The new system does not need a big man. That is why Yao is not playing the role of a big man. Therefore, do not hesitate to have the idea of playing in another team. In the new system, Yao is just another player and his strong points are used to the full extent. Speak to Hakeem. No one is in a btter position to give you the right advice.
