That's awesome that you have inside footage that we might now experience anywhere else. Thanks for the analysis and keep up the good work! Are you going to all the Rocket playoff home games?

Hi Jonboy,

Thanks for the compliment. I'm not sure if I'll have a media credential for all the games. I think they only dole them out for games they know will be played, so I have a pass for game #2, but not sure about game #5 yet since they may not need to play it (which I wouldn't mind because that means they would have swept the series). So I'll just have to wait and see if I can keep getting them if the Rockets advance, or I get squeezed out because of other established media companies wanting the limited spots.

In the meantime, I'm going to try to go to game #2 on Monday, but I live in Austin, which is about a 3-hour drive with no traffic, about 4 hours with traffic. So I may need to pace myself and not burn out doing too much driving back-and-forth.

Great work! Espn made a comment about a "wild thing" yao video. did you see it? Thanks

Thanks, Jackson. Yes, I saw it but didn't pay much attention to it because I was taking notes. For the little I did watch, I didn't think it was as great as Bill Walton said it was, but maybe I realize that Yao is capable of loosening up and "taking one for the team" to promote the Rockets and wasn't a stretch to see him do that. Its main intention was to get the fans rowdy with Yao spurning them on to "get loud" at the end of it.

Hey, great post!

Just wondering why Tracy and to whom he was winking at during the game [maybe after 3rd quarter?] Was he saying that he planned to shine and steal the limelight this way by tanking 1st half and shooting hot for 2nd? or he was just happy and flirting with his bench?

David,

I'm not sure. I saw a highlight of him doing that, but I missed it when it happened. I've got to think it was when he was hitting all those shots in the third quarter. Hopefully he was doing it toward the bench and not directly to the camera. As great as T-Mac is, I'm not a fan of players who try mimick what Jordan did during that playoff game in the 90's when he shrugged his shoulders not believing himself that he was hitting all those shots. The media ate that up, and it was even used in some commercials. Hopefully T-Mac is not trying to do the same thing.
